Tous les thèmes du disque, écrits et arrangés par le saxophoniste sont intéressants, notamment sur le plan rythmique, et se prêtent merveilleusement aux improvisations. L’association Garcia/Leloup fonctionne parfaitement, l’un complétant l’autre en tant que soliste, le duo fournissant parfois une toile de fond bien placée pour les incursions des autres musiciens, ou pour un passage d’improvisation collective. La section rythmique occupe toujours une bonne place dans les thèmes, leur fournissant une excellente assise et sachant en orienter le mouvement. Chaque plage a son parfum propre et chacun s’y conduit brillamment.

All the themes of the disc, written and arranged by the saxophonist, are interesting, especially on the rhythmic level and lend themselves wonderfully to improvisations. The Garcia / Leloup association works perfectly, one complementing the other as a soloist, the duo sometimes providing a well-placed backdrop for the incursions of other musicians, or for a collective improvisation. The rhythm section always figures prominently in the themes, thus providing them with a solid base and directing their movement. Each piece has its own scent, brilliantly enhanced by each musician.
